This is the deluxe edition of The Long Now. This version of the album includes two Bonus tracks, "Secluded" & "Brood", not available on streaming services!

We were also exploring ideas for 'enhanced experience' presentations of the music, including high-resolution 24-bit audio and virtual surround spatialization, and we decided to make them available via this deluxe special edition release alongside the 'normal' version of the album.

NOTE: Bonus Tracks and Virtual Surround Mixes are delivered when you *download* the album after purchase; they do not appear in the streaming version of the album.


ABOUT US:

Owl Cave Dreams are two musicians of very different backgrounds, from Scotland and Canada. We call the music we make Ambient Psychedelic… as if, say, Tangerine Dream met Robert Fripp and the Orb for a mysterious sonic ritual in the woods behind Brian Eno’s house…

Our music unfolds in real time, together in one room. No master plan – we press record, we play, we listen, we respond. Loops are made, modified, transformed, destroyed. Sounds pass back and forth, transformed, re-framed, re-imagined. A conversation encapsulating various dichotomies: strings and keys, digital & analog, analytical & emotional, scientific & spiritual, masculine & feminine, straight & gay, cis & trans, signal and noise, sense and nonsense…
